Disruptive Technology
TherapneaTM overcomes that limitation by applying 2 patented innovations:
Airway support device insertion only begins when gag stimulation is reduced (patient is in deep sleep & OSA events are detected).
Insertion is very slow (up to 30 minutes), making the throat’s nerves grow insensitive to the support device’s presence due to neural habituation.
